Gear or Not to Gear

Hope everyone is enjoying the Summer so far. It's a hot one here in Berlin. My flat has no A/C and the fan just blows around the hot air. Still I'm in Bln, so I can't complain. To all my SF and US buds, hope you are all ready for Up Your Alley wkd in SF.

Last night I had a great session with a regular playduddy here and after we were done, I realized there was something different about the session. There he was naked on my bed, wearing only loads of sweat and cum (mine and his). This playmate had always previously laced up his boots, slid into a rubber or leather jock, rubber shirt, singlet and or other types of gear. But not today, just a medal ball stretcher. I was also naked.

So after the session we talked a bit about it. He told me that he was not recently in the same gear phase as before. That he still enjoyed rubber and such, but it was not so necessary to play, and playing naked was just fine. This crazy heat is a good reason not to get all rubbered up anyway. I said I was in the same place as of recent. When I was packing, I didn't bring very much gear with me. Of course I have some things that I leave in Bln anyway, but they are still in the cellar for now. 

I know lots of guys that can not imagine not getting into some gear for a session, and they look great in it, but for me I guess it was never a "fetish" in the since that I need it, rather that I enjoyed it and still do. Bln has for me always been a city that has embraced Gear in a big way. From the Skins, leather, rubber, sneaker, and sports kit. Guys here even mix the gear, which I haven't seen in many places.... leather harness with soccer, and sneakers, or rubber chaps and sneakers and other combos. Many of these never really caught on the same way in the US, as far as I could tell, much less the mix and matching. 

Kinks come and go I suppose, and I may be back in my gear soon or whatever the next kinky gear thing is....

RIP Wilfried Knight (1977-2013)

A few days ago, I got the terrible news that Wilfried Knight had taken his own life. Its a tragic  situation that no one is prepared to hear. I met Wilf a few years ago, on a Raging Stallion set, which he was fisting Matthieu Paris in the scene. I had already had him on my wish list, for a scene for EDGER9.com, thinking his look was just what we were looking for and an EDGER9 man. Once I saw him and set and talked to him a bit, I discovered he was interested in getting more into the kinkier side of things. I was even more interested in shooting him now...for E9 & for Studfist.com. We shot Wilf for E9 (Shooter & DARE) and I loved working with him. Even with all the movies and a who's who of Big Studio work (including being the 1st ever Lucas/Raging Stallion exclusive) under his belt, he had zero attitude and not a "diva" on set at all. He always listened to direction and tried his hardest to fulfill the vision of the director. We also later shot him for Studfist and again a pleasure to work with.

Outside of shooting I also got to know Wilf a bit having dinner and drinks when he was in town (SF) and several times when we both happen to be in Eu. I enjoyed chatting with this stud, and enjoyed his sense of humor and realness. Wilf was a really sweet person and very easy going. One of the funniest things he would say is referring to himself as the "La Lucci" of the porn world, as he was often nominated but never won at the awards ceremonies. Referring to Susan Lucci, daytime soap actress, that is often nominated, but never won. *Wilfried did win the 2010 GayVN Award for Performer of the Year, and he took home the 2011 Grabby for Best Versatile Performer. 

He would often talk about how he struggled with how people view people in the porn industry. Many guys in the porn industry have to deal with this issue..... for many when they watch porn they have their favorites and fantasy men, which is great, but can also dehumanize models, and people can forget that these are real people with hopes, dreams, feelings, and families and all the issues that come along with it, and most very "normal" people in their real lives. Wilfried did a good job of discovering where his character stopped and his life began.

Wilfried married longtime partner, Jerry Enriquez (American citizen) in Canada, several years ago, and both moved to Vancouver, BC. But the "Defense of Marriage Act" made it impossible for Jerry to sponsor Wilfried for spousal-based citizenship in the U.S. Desperately seeking a way to stay together, Enriquez found work with the athletic company Lululemon in Vancouver last year,  where Knight (French citizen) had full legal access to his husband's benefits. Unfortunately after several months Enriquez lost that job, and took his own life. I had heard about Jerry's suicide and sent my condolences to Wilf and tried several times to contact him, and check up on him..... but he had not returned calls of messages, and now I know that he had not been in contact with other friends either. I can only imaging the dark place he was in..... 2 weeks later Wilf took his own life earlier this week.

It's a very tragic loss of (2) great people. I didn't know Jerry that well, I'd only met him a few times  but what I did know of him I liked. Wilfried will be missed, and I hope he and Jerry found the peace they were searching for.

This video feature Andreas. Andreas is a very loud and talented hungry pigboy. I've known Andreas for many years and play often with this pig. its always a joy to push his limits and have him push 1 of the biggest meatiest rosebuds out at me. He came over 1 afternoon to my play apartment (the Chrome apt) for a hot session. He has usually worn the gas mask in previous scenes, but this time he is sporting a black faceless hood, that only has the mouth part open.

He hopped up and made himself comfortable in the GynO-Chair. Andreas has always loved the punching, but this time we were able to work on some nice depth too. His hole is opening nicely wide and deep now, and even took my fist and forearm with the gauntlet on it.

Scene locations

I am always on the lookout for new scene locations for both sites. So if anyone have, apartments, garages, playrooms, bars, (private) backyards, decks, gardens, rooftops, or any cool spaces that would work for a shoot for Stusfist.com or EDGER9.com it would be awesome. As I said before I love shooting outside, and hoping to shoot some hot scenes near the Russian River in Northern California soon. If anyone has any great outdoors spaces in that area please get in contact. A few days ago we shot a super hot scene with Drew Cutler and Tristan Phoenix at Steamworks Berkeley for E9, and we shot a Studfist scene there with Trent Bloom last year, see Double Dip. Shooting at Steamworks is always awesome, and the Mtg and staff are very cool, and welcoming hosts.

This summer I planned a trip down to Southern California, with some shoots set up for our other website EDGER9.com. Of course I had to set up some time to connect  my favorite California boy, Chuck Deep. I made it a point to set up some time between shoots to visit this Chuck and explore his hungry hole. When we met up, we talked about how beautiful the day was and how it would be awesome to film out session outdoors somewhere...


Chuck knew of just the spot. He knew of a roof top, that would be perfect, so we went for it. I absolutely LOVE shooting outside, using natural sunlight and awesome background views, so when that opportunity comes along, I am all for it.



Chuck's hole was super hungry as usual, begging to be punched out, so I did just that. Chuck, sporting his shaggy-chic look, and aviators, looked so hot with his legs wide open and his beautiful hole begging for more. He then squatted down on my arm, even with helicopters buzzing around now and then could not stop this stud taking a nice hot ride. 

The whole thing was awesome, I love how the sun hit lense just right causing beautiful lense flares. It was a perfect day fisting my this boy, in a perfect spot.
